30 Day Writing Challenge: Day 02

Day 02: Where would you like to be in 10 years?

Hi guys,

Welcome to day 02, how has your day been so far?

In 10 years time I will be 29, turning 30 in July. Scary! I would love to be a full time primary school teacher, as I am starting my degree in September. I’ve never really thought about becoming a headteacher or anything, I’ll let fate decide that one. Possibly teaching in places like America, Australia or maybe Africa, that would be amazing! I definitely want to see more of the world’s hidden treasures!

I have always been sure that one day I will leave Britain, ideally moving to Australia, I love the idea of an outdoor lifestyle, unlike the miserable rain of Wales! Although I am liking the idea of America or Canada more recently (having a white Christmas)!

I am torn between whether I would like a lovely house, or whether I would like land and build my own home/Log cabin thing on it! I do want another horse after I finish University, obviously I’d have to settle down somewhere first. I would love to be able to see him/her from my house, feed them a carrot every morning, that sort of thing.

I love a good fairy-tale, so by then I would love to be married, after a picturesque wedding, in a pretty white dress on a beautiful beach somewhere! I would love to have a child or children, I love working with children, so I think being a mum will be so rewarding.

So yeah in 10 years time I want to live up to every little girls dream, the perfect house, prince and family. Sorry for being slightly boring, but you know, that heart wants what the heart wants!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
