30 Day Writing Challenge: Day 11

Day 11: Put your music on shuffle, what are the first ten songs?

Happy Saturday,

Hope you are enjoying! Welcome to day 11, where i’ll be putting my music on shuffle, I’m slightly worried that there’s gonna be a few Christmas songs and really old songs but we will see.

So let’s get on with it!

  1. Β Let it Snow, Dean Martin – I knew a Christmas song would come up, for that I apologise. Luckily I love this song, but only in the run up to Christmas. My favourite Christmas song is The Pogues with Fairy tale of New York.
  2. Blue Jeans, Lana Del Rey – I love Lana Del Rey, her voice is amazing. I love her songs, they seem to speak to me. I know some people think she has quite a depressing voice but I love her! One of my favourite songs by her is ‘Ride’ if you watch the full version it’s like 10 minutes long, but she has some inspirational words.
  3. Turn Around – Conor Maynard ft. Ne-yo – Bit of an oldie now I suppose, can’t say I particularly love this song, but it’s number three.
  4. Ain’t No sunshine, Bill Withers – Now this really is old, but it’s an amazing song, Bill Withers has a lovely voice. I do love old classics. I love the drifters, there music has a feel good factor.
  5. Heart skips a Beat, Olly Murs – I used to love Olly Murs when he first started, don’t get me wrong I still like his music, but I don’t buy the albums.
  6. Stereo Hearts, Gym class heroes – Again nothing current, I love Adam Levine and Maroon 5, this is a really catch song.
  7. Wherever I go,Β Miley Cyrus – Before her major reinvention, when she was sweet Miley, still on disney channel. I loved this song for ages (still do), brings back a few memories of when me and Lara used to come home from school to watch Disney. I like some of her newer stuff, like wrecking ball when that came out.
  8. No regrets, Dappy – I remember this song being hugely popular, his break from N-Dubz, I love this song, it speaks to everyone! Have no regrets!
  9. Grow old with me, Tom Odell – I love Tom Odell he has such a soft and pure voice, this song is so good, you really need to listen to it if you haven’t heard it.
  10. Seen it all, Jake Bugg – I’m so glad that Jake Bugg came up, he is probably my favourite artist, when I first listened to ‘Two Fingers’ it was like a light bulb moment, where it made me go all fuzzy. I watched him Live in Cardiff 3 years ago, he was amazing, brilliant live. Seen it all is a great song, give it a listen.

There we have it! My first 10 shuffle songs, I do apologise for the lack of new music. Some of my favourite artists at the moment are, Lady Gaga, Christine and the Queens and Ed Sheeran.

Hope you enjoyed, Thanks for reading,

Chloe Amanda
